I love markets. And second hand shops. The things you can find are just amazing!

We also had brekkie at a little cafe, where they had blankets for your laps! I haven't seen that before! 

Certainly helped keep the chill at bay :)

(New) Home Sweet Home

Well it's official, John and I have moved into our own place! Technically we moved on Saturday but I haven't had a chance to blog before now!

It's cute, with a backyard and important things like a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen :) We've bought house-y things like a toaster and a kettle, and we hope to have a veggie garden in a few weeks time. Sorry plants, in advance, I'll try not to kill you.

I've got a few exciting things in the works though, like an awesome giveaway, an excellent interview with a young mum/new blogger and a few little DIY's!

Will post them soon, as there's still work to be done, and I don't have a proper internet connection yet.

A Day for Mums!

Happy Mothers Day to all the Mums out there! Technically it was yesterday, but I didn't have a chance to post!

So, I hope all the mums, mums-to-be, mother-in-laws, grandmothers, nana's and any form of mother out there had a fabulous day!

I took my mum out shopping (after she opened her presents) and brunch, we both had an excellent day.

I also found these adorable little cupcakes from The Cupcake Bakery here in Sydney :)
